There was a very warm gathering at the Witzel/Williams' house on Saturday
evening, Sept 13 to remember Chris.
There were about 25 adult guests (and about 15 young kids) who shared their memories of Chris. Friends commented on Chris's courage, his boundless enthusiasm, his intense friendship, and his devotion to Ira and his kids. There were people who knew him from his Kennedy School days, from Rand, from his work in Russia and Ukraine with Ford and the Eurasia Foundation, two of his two nieces Heather and Elizabeth Weir - daughters of sister Claudia, and others. After sharing stories and memories of Chris, we enjoyed a nice meal of food and drink that everyone had brought.
